Reconnecting Communities Study: We Want To Hear From You!!

Updated: May 16

Chester Hill Borough, in collaboration with various State agencies, has secured funding for a Reconnecting Communities Study. This study will focus on the issues caused by the closing of the Presqueisle Street Bridge. A kickoff meeting was held on February 29. The second step of the process is to gather traffic engineers observations concerning truck, car, bus and pedestrian traffic in the area of Gertrude, Rowland, McGuirk, Presqueisle, and Walton Streets.

The third step of the process is to hold a public meeting to share that information and solicit input from Borough residents. The meeting will be held in mid-April. More information will follow on this website, and in the 2nd Quarter Newsletter.

To that end, we have designed a survey and are asking for you input. Here is the link to the Reconnecting Communities Survey.

Each household in the borough will receive a flyer within the next several days with information on the survey, a link to the survey, and a Quick Response (QR) code. Take a picture of the QR code and you will be directed to the survey site.

A copy of the flyer is included below. Click below to download and view the flyer.
