National Night Out

We are starting to plan our second National Night Out. NNO is always the first Tuesday in August, across the nation. NNO is an opportunity to meet local organizations, police, fire departments, EMS personnel, and businesses. NNO began as a community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. You can learn more about National Night Out at natw.org.

Our NNO will be August 1, at the Borough Building grounds. The event runs from 5:30 until 8:00, and will feature local police, fire departments, EMS personnel, first responders, local churches and businesses, demonstrations, service providers, and food trucks.

Area and county organizations, churches, businesses, entertainers, service providers are being contacted to participate. We already have several organizations committed with some demonstrations and participation activities. If you or your business have any ideas on how you can participate and contribute, please let us know.

We are seeking several businesses or individuals to sponsor Chester Hill NNO, via donations. We do not use Borough funds, and hope to build on the success of our first NNO last year. We will provide updates as we get closer to the event.
